What is Hemp Extract?
CBD is the common abbreviation for Cannabidiol, a prominent and naturally occurring chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. CBD is a lipophilic molecule, meaning it is attracted to lipids, fats, and oils. It does not dissolve well in water, if at all. A CBD vaporizer will deliver a CBD dose almost instantly, a CBD oil based extract will deliver a predictable dose over a longer amount of time but is very consistent and predictable, and a topical cream CBD product will release a medium range dose of CBD over a longer time period and generally to a targeted area close to the placement of the cream.
